Hi!
I've just installed DIablo II (+lod) and I'am unable to connect to the european realm. All the other realms are working. I figured out that maybe my IP address is banned. The last time I played online was about 4 (four) years ago. Is it possible that I'm still(?) banned after all these years? Can someone help me to solve this issue?
Thank You!

Mukso ,

The IP address you've posted from was recently used to violate the Battle.net Terms of Use Agreement - http://www.battle.net/tou.shtml. The most common causes for this are: connecting to Battle.net with an invalid CD-Key, spamming the chat channels, use of flood or load bots, harassing another user, and/or the use of a third party program(s).

The IP address has warranted a lengthy restriction and will not be able to access Battle.net (Europe) for another 11 days

Dear Martyt,
Thank you for your answer and informations and I understand those, but still I would like to kindly ask for a much shorter restriction. As I said i have not been playing online since around 2008-09. If it is possible maybe you can check my last log in: my account name was Picimate ( if my memory serves me right ). I don't even have an account on the European realm right now and I just can't imagine how my IP got banned without even playing with the game... Anyway, it would be a pleasure if You could cancel the restriction as soon as possible.
Thank you very much,
Best regards!

The system is automatic and 95% of the time an extended IP ban is due to you (or someone sharing your IP) trying to connect to BNet with an illegal CD-key, Marty has no control over it and he can't remove the restriction (all he can do is see if you have one and how much longer is left on it)
