  • 0. Guy stole my account   06/26/2012 05:47:45 AM PDT
Hello, im writing this just to hope i can get my main acc back (this one), he changed the activation email and i can't do nothing.
I start writing the story:

I was in a bnet channel and some1 told me to trade accs. I said no, i wanted $.
So we finally got a pact and i said i wouldnt give any info (pw and so on) if theres no $ to my paypal.
He asked my paypal account i told him.
Then i received an email from blizzard saying that i had tried to change my activation email from my own one to josiahs@keconsulting.co.uk.
Then i started to suspect really hard about this guy...
So i went to rechange my email to my old one (i will tell any admin if requested) but i didn't receive any email from blizzard.
I even forwareded the email to battle.net.abuse@europe.battle.net but nothing happens, i cant take my account to my original email...

I can tell you whos the guy too (but u dont allow posting accs here...).

Some help?

The battle.net.abuse@europe.battle.net forward email is not working.
How are we supposed to recover our accounts????

Ghost.retorno. ,

Sorry, there's nothing we'll be able to do. Who ever holds the registered email address is the owner.

By the way, the selling or trading of accounts is not allowed and certainly not something we'd ever support.

So HOW THE F ()CK are we supposed to cancel new email changing if the FORWARD SERVICE DOESNT WORK? This is a SECURITY HOLE.
PD: as you can see i never sold the acc just because started to suspect after the email i received, so i need your support for a hacked/stolen account.

I can give you the code i received in the email of confirmation, that would prove i received it so you may change it manually... Its the same as the system do but with the difference of be manual not auto...

The problem was solved by myself talking with the guy.

Your support service from battle.net is regrettable. Making mistakes all the time (they know 0 about classic games).

I hope u guys don't have to deal with blizz for a problem like this.

It's not blizz's fault if you give your own pass away and lose your account. Just like Martyt said, trading accs is not supported, it's one hundred percent your fault if you lose your acc to scam.

Blizz's Bnet 1 support is great considering that the legacy games are many many years old and bnet1 is free optional service.
