I am recently returning to diablo 2 after a very long time and started fresh on USEast with a new druid.
About level 13 now and I was comparing some stats on 2 different shields in werebear form and suddenly I got disconnected and now when I try to reconnect to USEast I get connecting to the fastest server message or something to that effect. I can however connect to the other realms leading me to believe I have been banned for unknown reason. I was wondering If I could get some clarification as to what ive done wrong so I can avoid it in the future.

Oh OK just had me worried I was switching back and forth between 2 shields very fast thought that was the cause, thank you for pointing that out to me and happy hunting!!
