I wouldn't mind finding a group to run with for ladder reset. Core/Realm and Classic/LoD isn't very important.

Also, if anyone wants my gear from this season(East Classic Softcore[most of it is decent, but hardly good]) before I delete it now's your chance to claim it!

In fact I am about to post a shout out to my last reset team; haven't heard from them in a long time. It was a good team, good guys all. Maybe a few of them are gonna run a bit.

New Zealand time is hardly condusive to effective group play. I tried with some guys from another forum and only got one day in so I am pretty useless now.

Mr.Mop, Id be delighted to D2 it up for a few days. Last season we played on East so id be happy to come over to your playground for the duration of my stay, I hear that douchebags are somewhat less frequent on west too (woohoo).

Classic/lod dont matter to me either but since the likeleyhood of most players sticking around for the duration of this season is pretty low i can see some fun in playing HC. But again if the thought of possable failure scares people off then ill sheep it up to keep a few people around.

So...you're thinking West Hardcore, eh? That'll work for me...we still have plenty of time(I don't suspect the servers will be back up till about 5PM or so here) to find a couple more...also I'm still certainly flexible to change realm. Hardcore action sounds fun though. We can decide LoD/Classic at the last minute unless someone comes along with a strong preference.

However, this may be a bit difficult for me as I've played so little modern LoD... I'll have to do some research(i. e. looking up items before the reset is complete). Do you have any preference to realm, Ven?

East and West are both fine for me. I've spent my D2 career playing on East, but I live walking distance from the Pacific.

And the ubers will actually be pretty easy for you - you haven't spent the last decade getting spoiled by the broken overpoweredness that is LoD. You might want to take one of the traditional melee classes though (barb/paladin/amazon/assassin/druid), as sorcs and necros have to be much more creative and/or duped up. Personally a paladin running concentration would be huge for us running a HC ladder, as we will already have a might merc and I'm sure someone will want to go summoner.

After looking at Skill and Item pages on Arreat Summit, I had already decided I was going to do either a Zeal/Smite Paladin or a Multi-Shot/Cold Arrow Amazon. If you want the auras I suppose I'll go with the Paladin, which will be a nice change of pace since I almost always play casters/ranged characters. Although I'll be running Fanatacism rather than Concentration...

That's fine. As long as we are running something next to might and blessed aim. I don't know how many other people we will have (I'm gonna try and slip someone in if we have room), but if we get a CEmonner we will be in business.

Reset is done...I think I'll stick with East(if for no other reason than to look at my old sorc in channel for a little while longer)... See you guys there!

You're certainly welcome to join...I haven't started my HC char yet, but whenever you and/or ven log on I'll be ready to go...Dudly is around, but I think he's afk right now...I'm gonna eat, quick!

Hi, Kin. That's my term for what they did last reset: some days after the ladder season IX reset, patch 1.13d was introduced without notification that there had been work on one. (After it went live, then they posted about it, but then went on a thread-deleting rampage for any questions raised regarding it.)
