We’ll be performing an approximate six hour maintenance on the USEast/Azeroth realm to rollback Warcraft III clan data to their pre-migration settings. This means that all clans will be set back to their original standing from June 20. No other games or data should be impacted as this rollback is specifically targeted to reset Warcraft III clans.
Maintenance will begin tomorrow morning at 9:00 a.m. PDT/12:00 p.m. EDT, July 3, and is scheduled to conclude no later than 3:00 p.m. PDT/6:00 p.m. EDT the same day.

Also, this is my first time ever going on this forum after playing since the game came out and its cool to see alot of people still care about this grand-daddy of games.... sadly these people are not you, the employees. Ill continue playing this boss until i get money to buy other games (not blizz cause i see its gone down the ****-hole and will continue to get beaten out by new games like Guild Wars 2 if you dont support your fans) or until my CD undergoes radioactive decay in the next 5 or so million years. Anyways, its the classic dilemma in history the needs of your 50,000 War 3 fans dont take precedent over the millions of others, but we still need to be recognized cause 50,000 people is a great community for a 12 year old game. I cant believe there aren't more on your team who would love to help renovate this classic and maybe bring back some OG players like the good days. I know I'm the only one of my friends who still plays but theyd be back if some basic stuff was fixed. Like new maps! (WHERES THE STRATEGY IF YOUVE PLAYED THEM 10,000 TIMES) and anti-hacks (MAPHACKS/DROPHACKS/SOME WEIRD BUILDING INVULNERABILITY HACKS RUIN GAMES). Simple fixes to bring it back to the roots and satiate your fans, is it too much to ask?!? DONT LET WAR 3 DIE OR THE BLOOD WILL BE ON YOUR HANDS!!!!! hahaha

Nice to see that the clans are going to go back to normal.
Since the reset the ladder rankings have been messed up, when I try to view my ladder rank on the ladder and tournament info pages: hthttp://classic.battle.net/war3/ladder/w3xp-ladders.aspx?Gateway=Azeroth It shows people still ranked from befor the reset and our rankings in with theirs according to level, will this eventually be fixed so we can see our actual rank on the new ladder season?

Bashiok, it is true what he said. Lots of players who were online when the server went down for maintenance lost their accounts. I want to tell you some of my friends were a victim of this. One player had thousands of games and his account now has only one game played and lost all of his icons.
We're bringing USEast back down to roll back to data from before today's maintenance as we've run into issues with the Warcraft III clan fix. This will reset USEast/Azeroth to data from when today's maintenance began.
We anticipate USEast/Azeroth to be down for approximately three hours, returning by approximately 10:00 pm PDT / 1:00 am EDT.

I was told by one of my friends working for EA , that blizzard was going to do a reset a couple of months from now anyways, they just accidentally did it too soon.
