I was wondering what I can do to play in U.S. east, because I literally just bought the game yesterday. I have never played before, just opened an account on your site the day before and now I have to play on the European gateway. I live in north america on the east coast! please help.

The IP address you've posted from was recently used to violate the Battle.net Terms of Use Agreement - http://www.battle.net/tou.shtml. The most common causes for this are: connecting to Battle.net with an invalid CD-Key, spamming the chat channels, use of flood or load bots, harassing another user, and/or the use of a third party program(s).
The IP address has warranted a lengthy restriction and will not be able to access Battle.net for another 11 1/2 days.

Hey, I'm having similar issues as those around. I'm sure it has something to do with me putting D2 on both my and my girlfriend's computer using one CD Key from the battle.net download installer. Anywho, I've got a new CD key freshly installed and I figured I'd check to see how many days I've got left on my ban - I'm pretty sure my two weeks should have been up a few days ago...

I just got what is probably my third 2 week temp ban in the past few months, and just like the last one I haven't even been logged on bnet for over a day, and this morning I try to log on and whadya know, ip banned. It is getting so I have a character on USEast and USWest just because of this. I'm sick of it. Two weeks into new ladder and already I can't play my character for probably two weeks, and I have to start all over on USWest. I just got off a 2 week ban on east right before reset so this will make the third new barb I have had to make in the past month. Ridiculous! Do I have to buy a new copy of Diablo just to get a decent Cd key or will this even help me? probably not.

I'f you keep getting 2 week IP restrictions, someone using the IP address you use is connecting to us with a Blizzard legacy game installed with an illegal cd-key.

Welcome. I am receiving a message 'Unable to connect to Battlenet' When I am trying to connect to Europe realm, US-West. But I can easily connect to Asia and US-East can anyone explain me what is it and how I can prevent it from occuring? Does this mean I have a 2 week ban? No one is using my CD-Key other than me.

I am also unable to connect to u.s. east or u.s west. I can however access Europe and Asia. I just re-installed my game (D2-lod) from .iso files since, 1. I don't have my original discs any more but have both of my CD keys currently registered to my Bnet account. 2. The bnet client game does not work. and 3. I tried to download a game client from a third party site because of 2. Is there any way my isp can get reset so that I am no longer banned from useast /west? I have valid CD codes, (two cd codes for each D2, and D2LOD, since I purchased physical cds two times...) and I deleted all of the third party information off of my computer, and reset everything I could so that I could re install the game. To summarize, I now am able to play my legally acquired game, but can't log into useast or uswest. Could I please get a time frame when my isp will be unbanned(I'm guessing two weeks?), or some more information on resolving this?
