So me and my roommate decide to start playing d2 again for nostalgia and soon became heavily addicted again but come to find that since we play together in our apartment on separate games with their own legit cd keys, we are being punished by temp bans all the time? this is a little ridiculous, we try our best to stay within the guidelines of these temp restrictions but its near impossible with two of us playing.
I mean i feel its a little unfair that i go out and purchase the battle chest for this game from store and i cant even play the game i PAID for? yet bots run free to make countless baal runs 100 times over without being banned i guess?
What are we to do? Can i at least get an accurate time on how long we have to sit here and wait to play our games again tonight?
sixen? what kind of half fast response was that? If you read my post i clearly stated that we ARE following your guidelines to the best of our abilities but, LIKE I SAID, since me and my room-mate play together on same internet connection we get banned together whenever one of these random bans happens. i dont even know why i have to explain myself again please re-read my post and don't just give me a link to something ive read over a hundred times. I mean come on man this is what my post is all about, the problems im having with these guidelines... can someone who can actually give me some help post

Temp Ban again tonight for me and my room-mate, so i have a question once you've gotten your first 12 hour ban is every subsequent "violation" give you a 12 hour ban again? How long are we banned for tonight? is there any chance we can play this game....
Once you've reached the point your restriction lasts 12 hours, they'll continue to last that long until you've managed to play long enough without triggering another restriction. This time period is not published but I think it's 2-3 days. Once it's reset, the next one will last a few minutes and increase in length again up to the 12 hour max.
If you find that your play style includes creating multiple games in a short period of time, please try reducing the number of games you create. If multiple players are connecting from a shared internet connection, try and avoid having everyone join or leave a game at the same time to prevent the game servers detecting that multiple games have been created in a short time, as this can increase your chance of getting a restriction.
