Hello Everyone,

First time poster long time Blizzard User. I was in game playing Diablo 2 LOD and when I went to switch characters I got an unable to connect message. A few minutes later I got a blizzard email stating that my account may have been compromised. When I read online it looks like someone may have been simultaneously trying to hack my account using an invalid CD key. I have both of my cases here at the house and they are the only ones that I have. Is it true that if someone else was trying to get into my account I will be banned for 2 weeks?

I see that it usually only takes switching IP addresses to get around this but AT&T U-Verse does not refresh IP addresses like normal DSL or Cable. The IP assigned is 99.144.64.237. I can still log into the Asia realm.

I tried to post a ticket but the response looked like it was geared towards WoW not Diablo 2. Any help would be appreciated. I just started playing this week after a break and had not quite permed some of my new characters.
