Hc-classic I joined 5 games fairly quickly and got 12 hour ban tonight. Several of these
have occurred this week.
My team of 3 players tele, boer and hammerdin can clear chaos in a few minutes. We are that
good. There is no experience reward anywhere else in the game. I added in mephy to my run
and still got banned after only a handful of games. This needs to be removed. I want to play ur
game which i payed money for and i am a legit player. How can i avoid these frequent almost
every day 12 hour bans? I googled it and havent found anything official . What is the limit?
I thought the limit was 20 an hour but how can i get a 12 hour ban in under 15 minutes? I did'nt
mule, i didn't login prior to my runs. I simply got banned from my fifth chaos run in a short period .
Does anyone have the link to a detailed explanation of restrictions?

I haven't played Diablo 2 on Battlenet for years. Today I decided to logon and see if it's fun after all these years and guess what? The realm I want to play on (Europe) I am also temporally restricted. How can I be banned from the game when I haven't played Battlenet for over 5-6 years???
Anyway I am deleting the game again. Good riddance I stopped playing Blizzard games...

It's sad that this game enjoyability has been reduced by many to its multiplayer functionality. I'm almost ready to plug in a few mods and not return to battle.net

I just got a temporarily restricted from the realm message and no clue why. I haven't played Diablo 2 for many years and I come back and after a few days this crap happens. Pretty stupid that people can spam and bot Chaos Sanctuary 24/7 and nothing happens to them. Blizzard, I fart in your general direction.

The most common problem associated with temp restrictions has to do with joining/quitting games too quickly. I'm not going to say it will cure it, but if this is what you've been doing, at least you should be able to play with little fear of being kicked off.
People can spam...
Yes, but it's down to about three item sites. Most of them have found a way around by logging on and logging off immediately after their message is delivered. Couple this up by a few dozen bots doing the exact same thing and you have an entity that chews up a lot of bandwidth and achieves nothing. I'd say that Blizz should definitely look into a better fix for it.
and bot 24/7...
because the bots have a timer to prevent them from joining/quitting too fast and triggering a restriction. And they don't take being kicked offline personally when it happens.
I'm going to say up front that they could take better care of their multiplayer service, but they've indicated through willful ignorance that they have no intentions of changing it.
The system they have in place was never intended to fix these problems. It was a side effect from the time people were running just Pindleskin because he was an easy-to-hit level 85 monster.
