Q u o t e:

I dont understand how I can have multiple IP addresses.

Think of your IP address like a street address. When you're at home, this doesn't change. But if you're out on the road then the address is changing constantly. You're accessing the internet from many different locations.

Battle.net will restrict IP address when they detect something wrong happening. Since you're off on the road, we don't know what your IP address is at home. I therefore can't confirm if you're restricted or not.

From what you describe, this sounds a lot like a temporary restriction. Before we make that conclusion though, I'd really like to know what your IP is at home so I can check. If anyone is at your place, have them go to this website and read off the four numbers that pop up:
http://us.blizzard.com/support/ip.xml?locale=en_US

I'd be happy to check the IP once we know it. You can edit the numbers out of your reply if you don't want to post them openly (recommended).

This isn't the IP we're looking for. The IP we'd need is the one your ISP sets for your household. The easiest way to find that is to go to the website I linked in my last post.

As I mentioned, you can just post the IP address here and then edit it of your post with the edit button in the top right of the post. I can just look at the previous post that way.

Is there anyway I can call you and give you the ip numbers instead of posting here? Please someone let me know..

Do I just post the numbers in this reply to you, and then try and edit them out once I have sent them? Do I hit the quote button then put numbers in there or what... Please help

First off - Relax.

Making a new post every hour is not going to speed things up, Blizz does not work at 3 AM so you need to wait for a response.

Second off, the edit button is right next to the "X", which is to the left of the quote button.

Allenwade01 ,

You can post it in a reply here. After posting it, go back and edit the post and remove them so no one can see them. We'll still be able to see the post before it was edited. Or you can contact us via an email sent to ForumTech@Blizzard.com attn MartyT or JonD

To be clear, we need to know what IP address is reported when you visit http://us.blizzard.com/support/ip.xml?locale=en_US while connected on your home wireless router.
