Today I was trying to download the digital client for Diablo 2 and Diablo 2 LOD. I was able to download the installer for LOD, but when I try to download the installer for Diablo 2, it gives me an error "unable to validate download, please download again from blizzard.com/accounts."

I believe this is because I was downloading the installer to my thumb drive (was installing on my laptop which does not have internet).

The timeline in which the error occured was as follows:

I inserted my thumb drive to my desktop and downloaded the Diablo 2 and LOD installers. When I tried to install Diablo 2, I received an error that the instaler was corrupt. I then insert my thumb drive back into my desktop, and since then I have been unable to use the downloader, receiving the message above.

Probably the files got corrupted because you didn't unplug your usb drive properly. You'll have to start over and get a fresh copy of the download
