Ok i have a couple of querys and i would be very appreciative if they could be answered thorughly.

What units counter undead units and what undead units should i use to counter my enemy?

Also i have seen a couple of builds. A standard ghoul creep/lumber,fiend,tier 2 then 2nd hero etc. OR forget fiends build mass ghouls(10) and use them to creep while gathering lumber. I've tried this startegy but it seems to be a way to tier 3 very quickly. I was defeated by it and used the same start on an aggresive player and was creamed:) Which build do you usually go for?

I'm probably gonna get a lot of #%*! from other ladder players for this response, but honestly what I've found most effective against a mirror undead 1v1 fight is to go Lich first (which is typically what you're suppose to do) and creep with 2 ghouls and a rod as soon as Lich comes out. While you're creeping you should be building fiends. Once your first fiend comes out, you can send the ghouls back to wood. In the event you get ghoul rush, nova should prove effective. Get about 3-4 fiends before teching to t2, and continue building fiends through out. Meanwhile, continue creeping if possible, as level 2 nova is very effective. (this is the part where people tend to disagree with me) Necro/wagon has been my most effective strategy against undead. So get 2 Temples of the Damned and a slaughter house and upgrade your necro/skeleton length, and get a couple wagon with exhume corpses upgrade and a statue for mana regen. DK as 2nd hero is optional, but it helps keep lich alive if they focus him. Tech tier 3 nearly immediately, and upgrade web in case of destroyers or frosts. Also, instead of getting frost armor, get dark ritual and sacrifice the summoned units whenever you need mana (Rod of Necromancy is very useful for this). Once you get tier 3, finish upgrade your necros, get an orb for the lich and attack. If the enemy has destro's make sure they get webbed down and killed asap (you should have about 6-7 fiends for this). Frosts are usually a problem, so try to attack before your opponent has time for this. Make sure your necros are at the back, out of range of any enemy attacks.

First of all, this strategy is typically meant for UD vs UD, however it works Okay against orc as long as they don't get spirit walkers. An expo is nice, but isn't necessarily required for this strategy. Also, gargs aren't really needed as long as you have web. Basically I'd hide in my base if he was being offensive, and hug next to my graveyard, any time he tried to attack, just use the necro's to summon skeletons. Get about 6 necros and another wagon, along with a statue to restore mana to the necros, also get some dust and focus the BM when he comes out. If he tries to WW and run, use the dust and keep using Nova and cripple until you kill him. After that, I'd counter and hopefully win.

Build a lot of statues and research destroyed form. Then when you have a handful of statues, go close to the expansion. Turn a statue into a destroyer. Then use that destroyer to siphon mana from another statue. Turn the manaless statue into a destroyer and siphon another statue.

Continue until all your statues are destroyers, then attack his towers. You should destroy them all, then easily take down the expo.
