I recently bought a Diablo II CD key from a website and used a Diablo II LoD CD key from the blizzard store to install Diablo. When connecting to battlnet it said my CD key was fake.. so I went to the blizzard store and bought a Diablo II CD key and re-installed everything again. When ever I try to connect to Battlenet USWest it keeps telling me "Unable to connect, If using a modem, you may need to connect to your internet service provider before connecting to battle.net. For ore information please visit www.battle.net/support/errormessages/" I tried everything from opening ports and enabling fire walls and etc. What could it be? It can't be that I got suspended for attempting with a flawed CD key just once. All the other realms work except USWest.

I've never had experience with this exact issue, so this is a bit of a shot in the dark, but you might be banned from the west server.

The very first time you tried to log on to USWest, did you use the key it said was fake? If so, I think sometimes you can be automatically banned from a server for something like a week or more for using a key the server doesn't like.

I know someone who was banned from USEast for using a bad key but he could still connect on USWest (after getting a good key), so that seems like the same sort of situation you have (his ban lasted about 2 weeks). You'd think the game would tell you if you were banned though, so I'm not positive.
