I play both D2 and Warcraft on Battle.net East Realms. I had to reinstall Warcraft III with the most recent patch but I couldn't find my Frozen throne CD. I was able to find a copy from a friend, but in the mean time, I tried to install it using a file I found on a Torrent site. I know I shouldn't have tried it, but I paid for these games, some of them twice over, and I have all the keys if necessary, but I'm banned on Battle.net east for both Warcraft III and Diablo 2 now. I've been able to access my DOTA games on west in the meantime hoping this was only a temp 12 day ban, but I was hoping I could get some more info, or have this lifted please. I am assuming it is my IP address on east that is banned. Please help. Thanks!
Obviously can't help as I don't work for Blizz, but for future reference, if you have the necessary CD keys, you can apply them to your batte.net account and download the game for free.
Yeah. I know. I even did that, but for some reason, the patch wouldn't update. Suffice to say, I didn't have to reinstall windows or anything, but it's working now. Only problem is I can't access Battle.net on East with all the friends I play with. Good times it is not. lol..
