Dear Blizzard Employees,

This has been mentioned several times throughout the course of my existence on Battle.Net, as multiple persons have stated this issue, sometimes more than once. It is regarding the use of bots on Battle.Net.

Bots have performed many more good functions than negative. They have helped clans fight off people they don't want in the channel. They provide a way for more than one person to moderate a channel using the same shaman/op, which is in the best interest of everyone on Battle.Net. They have helped keep people happy, by providing useful scripts for people to tinker with. I'm speaking majorly on trivia bots.

There have been several trivia communities around Battle.Net, some of which are thriving today. Without these, people would have to go somewhere else to find entertainment. Instead, there have been communities that are brought up under the use of bots to provide this entertainment, and people are happy because of it.

The problem, however, arose with the introduction of "warring" bots, that can annoy people with. One thing to take into consideration here is the overall use of good v. bad regarding bots. My community uses them, but for a non-malicious means. We do not annoy people with them, yet it seems I'm being targeted for something I did not do. Someone is loading several channels in my name, yet I'm not the culprit. Without the use of war bots, people could live in peace, but it seems we are all being treated unfairly.

Please take the good side of bots into consideration, and please attempt to get rid of those malicious users who are plaguing Battle.Net with their filth.

Though i do not support this, it brings me to a suggestion, in relation to your topic.

You (Blizzard) could create your own bot-type things, such as channel overseers, things like that. They are owned by a player, each player has access to their own one.
Of course i know you won't take this consideration seriously, i just thought it would be cool :P.

I don't get it, take what into consideration? The use of chat bots is not forbidden. Using a bot to violate the ToU/EULA will get you banned.

And Suggestion Forums are that way -------->
