I'm strating a wind druid and would like to have some tips on how to kill diablo clone if it get spawned. I was thinking of giving reaper toll to my merc, but for the rest I'm clueless.

Create a smiter. "Some" classes are just better than others.

In no particular order, here are some consider
Armor
Duress for crushing blow
Treachery for fade proc and ias
Leviathan for damage reduction
Skin of the Flayed one for life leech and life regen , (can be upgraded)
Gladiator's bane for integer (and integer magic damage) reduction.
Chains of Honor for resists and damage reduction%

Helm
Tal helm (insane life leech combined with Reaper's, life and resists)
Crown of Thieves (even better life leech, + some life and fire resistance).
Black Horn's Helm Prevent Monster Heal, Slows Target 20%, + 20 Lightning Absorb, lightning resist (can be upgraded).
Vampires Gaze for life leech damage reduction% and magic damage reduction
Circlet with life leach and life
Guilly Helm for chrushing blow
Andariel Helm life leech and skills
Giant Skull for crushing blow and sockets

There are several problems you have to face:

1) DClone's has 650k life plus life regeneration
His life regen must be stopped so you have a chance to win the fight.
Your options:
- Open Wounds
- Prevent Monster Heal -> does not work for merc's, you have to deal that hits yourself
- some very long lasting poison

A cheap way to deliver PMH to DClone is the Edge bow runeword. Just keep firing that bow at him until he turns green from Edge's build in poison. After that have a go with your regular attacks.

2) DClone has 95% cold resist 50% physical resist and deals a lot of damage.
Against such a high cold resist lone Lower Resist charges do not help much. To deal sufficent cold dmg (with Hurricane) you would need additional items with a lot of -% Enemy Cold Resist, like a Doom hammer or axe. If you can't muster alot of -% enemy cold resist Hurrican is out. and you need to go physical.

You could use Amp or Decrep gear like Reaper's Toll to get a shot at him with Tornado. But be aware that your merc will have a hard time to stay alive this way! To leech sufficent life from DClone regular leech mods are hardly enough. It will prolly take a wand of Life Tap charges so the procing Decrep from RT will interfere a lot.

Better then adding RT add Open Wounds and Crushing Blow to your merc. You can put an armor with OW on him like Duress runeword (also has CB) or the unique armors Crowcaw Toothrow or Boneflesh. For a ton of CB add Guilaume's Helmet. Then keep DClone under Life Tap and your merc should be able to do it.

Also any minions you can supply (like Grizzy) help a lot.
