Hello. I just decided last week to start Diablo II up again after not playing for about 3 years. I have played this game for over 8 years on and off, and I have NEVER been more angry, annoyed, or frustrated playing. EVERY SINGLE DAY since I started playing again, I have gotten the "your access is restricted etc....." and EVERY SINGLE DAY its a 12 hour temp ban. Why am I being banned every day like this? I have read up on the forums about not leaving games too quick... not making them too quick... all the rules of how not to play... why is this system in place because it is not doing anything to stop spam bots, MF bots, baal bots, etc etc... they are plentiful. When I played three years ago there were no complex do's and don't's about the game. How can I enjoy this game when I can't even play? I don't use 3rd party programs, and I am distraught that Blizzard would condone punishing people so harshly for such petty "offenses." This game used to be fun because you could leave and enter games at your leisure; not have to wait for 10 minutes to exit so you don't get banned, and wait in the channel so you don't get banned etc... I know that the developers and persons in charge of this game are not naive enough to realize that they are punishing the wrong people here; legit players are complaining, not the botters.

I am really hoping that either this severely inefficient system will be repealed, or at least adjusted enough so that I don't get banned after only 3-20 games every day. I really want to play again, but if this is how the game is going to continue, why bother? It's impossible to enjoy the game when every game you don't know if its your last for the rest of the day.

Seriously.. Am I the only one that finds this ridiculous? 2 days in a row i've been banned 10+ hours just for running Baal games..

It's not my fault your game takes 2 minutes to complete baal and meph. So Because i'm killing things and going quicker i am banned?

All in all i feel your frustration, I just got banned again for another 12 hours for muling items I had found. oh well!

I think we just stumbled upon the reason why this is blizzard policy.

Buying another CDKey is a waste of money, since your CDKey is not what is affected. So feel free to waste your money.

But hey, you won this game, right?
