Did the TPPK fix make hardcore public games playable again? I'm thinking about making a HC char next ladder, and want to know if it's worth the time. Did the griefers resort to BS like TP trapping, or have they given up trying to ruin HC?

I haven't really played public myself much, but when i've wanted to there's still very few public games (not even a full list much of the time). Not sure whether i'm going to go HC, SC, or just not play when the ladder resets.

Yea I started on hc this ladder and played for about 2month. lots more public games, lots better imo.
I switched to SC after a buddy contacted me and said he was going to play again. He didn't but I ended up sticking to sc at that point in the ladder....

Overall things are a lot better in HC now.

I only play hardcore but I pretty much always play private games. The only real exceptions I would make would be normal. My typical characters are oddball untwinked (yes I throw a lot of good stuff away) characters so occasionally getting my main skills down can be a drag I usually find normal games safe because even if a tp is monster packed the baddies don't often have enough firepower to kill you instantly.

Probably a past-time TPPKer griefing over the post for revealing other methods of HC PK they want to try and keep Blizzard from patching.

It's defiantly a lot better now. There's a few griefers still around but your not risking your life every time you join a public game now. HC was pretty active at the beginning of the last reset, it was nice.

Word of caution though don't do Hell CS runs. A lot of people set dirty CS tps so just avoid those runs. Baals are generally safe, its a good idea to let someone else take the tp first though just in case.
