Recently installed Diablo 2 / LOD on my Windows 7 laptop, the game runs fine but won't let me connect to US West. I went into my router settings (D-Link DI-524) and opened all of the necessary ports 4000, 6112-6119, and still would not let me connect. I then turned off all firewall/anti-virus programs that were running and still no luck. I tried US East and would not connect, then tried Asia which oddly let me connect. Here I thought since it's connecting me to Asia maybe I somehow got a ban for US. I then direct connected my laptop to the modem, and voila it connects me to US West, so it's not a ban from what I can tell. I switch back to wireless and it no longer lets me connect. I'm at a loss of ideas and would really appreciate any insight anyone could give me at this point in time. Thanks in advance.

As long as you go by wire it works. When you go wireless it doesn't.
Sounds like you already tracked the problem down to your wireless connection.
Repeat what you did for wire connections for the wireless part.
