... with my account. While there clearly is. My registered SC2 is for the EU region, and so is the client I've installed.

Gigamo,

Try this:

- Log into your Battle.net account.

- Go: Account > Settings > Communication Preferences

- Switch your language to match the play region.

See if that does it...

I have the same problem. Both my gameclient and account are set to English (UK), but it keeps saying that I have no associated SC2 account. My play region in the communication preferences is already set to the right region. I've also tried changing my password as suggested in the faq on the sc2 forums (where I can't post because I need an ingame SC2 character), but no improvement. Help needed :/

now with mild traces of sarcasm

I'm having this same issue.

Early downloaded the game (eu_en), today purchased the boxed version (In spain), entered the key into my battle net account and the game now shows up.

But, when trying to login i'm still told its not got an associated account. So far i have tried :

Changing my email address.
Changing my shipping address.
Changing my communication preferences.

Nothings worked.

If its important, i also had the beta installed, which is now uninstalled. Please help!

I also want to mention that a friend of mine has exactly the same problem as well, and we both have the CE.

Same here, can't play, no copy of SCII associated. Bought in the UK, playing in the UK, Communication Preferences set to English(EU).

I've tried changing language around, and rebooting the client, made no difference. The SCII is definitely registered on my account and showing up at the top of the list.

Yeah, paying more, but cant play !

Also all phone support lines are now down "Due to the high number of calls, everyone is busy and we are not accepting any new people into the queue".

Great.

I got the same problem overhere. I have the CE-game.

I tried all the following steps. But nothing works so far. I am now busy about 2 hours atm. I was trying multiple times to contact technical support. But no one is answering the damn phone!

So i am quite angry right now. All that for 12 years waiting. Bah!

Same here. Changing preferences didn't help.

Argh... that's so annoying!

I've got the same problem.

  • The game is bought in the Netherlands.
  • Language preference is set to English (EU).
  • Europe (EU) version of StarCraft II®: Wings of Liberty registered on my battle.net account.
  • Shipping address set to Netherlands
  • All web-addresses mentioned in the log files include eu, example: 'http://eu.launcher.battle.net/patchnotes/?product=S2&locale=en-GB'

  • When logging in it cannot find an associated copy of starcraft II.
