Alright, so I have a problem I have never found before. I am lagging pretty badly. I really doubt it is a hardware problem, because I can run big maps alone pretty easily, but when I try playing with other people, I get lag. Some of the signs are that I can't see other people's messages in the lobby, only the hosts. I have a new router, but I really doubt this has anything to do with it because with my old router I was lagging once I got a new computer. Can somebody please tell me what to do?

What's the make and model of your modem?

Netgear WNR2000. Like I said, my old router worked fine on it before, but eventually it messed up even on that router.

I'm talking about your modem, not your router. Your router appears to be fine. Your modem is the device located before the router.

Umm. It's plugged right into the DSL Line.

Oh, weird. I've never heard of issues with Netgear before, so I assumed you had a separate modem. Anyway, I looked it up and apparently, all you should need to do is set up portforwarding.
