I just started playing D2 in the last week or so after several years of off time. I've done nothing but play some games since I started up again (no spam, scam, etc). I'm curious why I'm muted and how long it'll last. Needless to say it's very annoying, especially since it's completely unwarranted. As far as I can tell, I was muted when I started.
I can't see a cause as they're never logged but the key you created the account with was permanently muted back on 2009-05-26. That was the second offense, the first being 2008-02-08.

I appreciate the speedy reply, but it is quite the bummer. I can guarantee that I was not playing in '09, and I doubt '08 either. I don't imagine there's anything that can be done about this, is there? If I had another set of keys, I'd have to make a new account (and thus characters), yes?
