I think Blackthorne was a great arcade game and would love to see it on xbox Live's Arcade. Any other takers?

Your idea for an Arch Angel class is a terrible one.

As for Blackthorne I don't know anything about it, but if it was originally a console game I don't see why it couldn't be ported, other than Blizzard not wanting to deal with Microsoft.

The arch angel idea isn't that bad at all. It's all about perspective namely: yours.
You're probably at least in your twenties. Me too. So how the hell do we know
how cool being an arch angel is to a youngster? Wouldn't you have found it cool when you were 13?

I'm 22 %*!#... and I've played Diablo 2 on and off since 2000 and have always thought the arch angel Tyrael was one of the coolest characters in the game...Always wishing I could play as one. I can guarantee there's plenty of other long-time Diablo fans that wished the same. If you don't know Blackthorne... You're not a long time Blizzard fan.

I know Blackthorne is an old game by Blizzard from before they made Warcraft, and it's some kind of action game, but other than that I don't really study it.

You admit yourself it would be cool to play as Tyrael, but that's because Tyrael is Tyrael, the rogue angel who has earned the fandom's respect. A character class would just be a cheap knock-off of Tyrael, like the WoW players who would get blond human paladins because they're trying to imitate Arthas.

Yeah Tyrael's cool... But, It's the look of an Arch Angel in general that I'm into. But, this post isn't about that it's about BLACKTHORNE. So, It'd be cool if they made a gears of war like remake of blackthorne. Think so, I do.

Well since you haven't made a thread about it and I can't exactly post in your signature I'll bring it up here.

In Diablo's lore the angels are at best neutral and at worst genocidal to all humans because they view them as part demon and therefore deserving of a purge. Tyrael is special because he's the only angel that would stand up for Humanity. If you add an Archangel class it becomes "Oh! It's Tyrael and this other angel: MartyStu-ael" It doesn't fit at all for another angel to be fighting on behalf of humans and not be as important as Tyrael. Every class is going to be human. In addition we already have the Monk filling the role of Holy Warrior. Witch Doctor too in his own way.

You know what? Really, all I need to have my fix of Arch Angel is for them to have an armor set that has % reanimate as Tyrael in them. Ya Dig! It doesn't have to be a character class and actually now that I think about it... I'd rather it not be a character class.
