Why hasn't blizzard found a way to get rid of spam bots? They give regular people temp bans relentlessly

Blizzard: Did you know that bot programs have built in measures to MAKE SURE they don't create/join games to rapidly.

Did you know there are bots in the lobby? Constantly spamming EVERY SINGLE CHANNEL? You can go into ANY channel on bnet, take a few names, ban a few people, and make a difference in the world.

You know what blizzard. I would gladly take EIGHT dollars an hour to sit on my arse all day long banning bots.... the bots would be gone in a matter of weeks, and if they want to come back, you can sell them some more cd-keys and I'll ban them again. It does NOT take that much effort to get rid of the bots. Really, it doesnt.

Here is my proposed solution:

Step 1: Enter any lobby channel.
Step 2: Find bots spamming (don't worry, they are there), and write the names down.
Step 3: Go to the ban machine
Step 4: Insert names and press "ban"
Step 5: Repeat steps 1-4
Step 6: Rejoice, because TENS OF THOUSANDS of Diablo fans LOVE YOU!!!!!!

Banning bots would be bad for business... Why? Every time one gets banned, the owners buy a new CD key..(they probably just use a keygen) same result in the end, they'll be back..
but I agree totally someone should start banning the endless streams of spambots joining every pub game, spamming messages via whispers if you've been on the main chat channel,etc..They also bug out many games by joining, spamming their message, and leaving quickly..This bugs the game so even if there are empty slots, more people can't join..this needs a fix!!

The irony. It burnsses uss, precious!!

Some of the newer item sites, which I swear must be from China, didn't notice this early on. They were getting timed out almost as soon as they joined. Temp bans aren't intended to get rid of bots, that was a side effect of mass join/quit activity which eventually crashed servers. Anything joining/quitting too fast and/or too often will have their IP restricted.

It makes me sad that a bunch of automated programs have better understanding of the temp ban system than actual people.

Blizzard's solution is to report them, and then they are supposed to take the appropriate measures.

Onces Diablo 3 comess out. Then, it will belong to uss, preciouss.

The blessed silence of item sites who have starved to death,
