Okay, so I need help with this and it's driving me nuts because it's the final thing I need to do to complete my map.
Heres the deal, I have my team which consist of me, and two computer controlled allies. All three of us are humans, and our bases are right next to each other. The computer allies of mine are being runned with a custome AI and new tiggers. They start out with units that I have placed on the map for them both. Everything works great and the way I set it up to work, except one very important aspect. When me, or either of my allies gets attacked by the enemy, they don't come to help me, or each other. So example: My Base (Red) will get attacked. My allies (Blue and Teal) will just sit there and let me get wasted. However, if they are attacked, they fight back, but only for themselves. No one defends each other like I want.
Okay, so...the burning and probably obvious question at this point...
How do I get my two allies to defend each other and me when our bases are attacked by the enemy?
I think Modify Ally Priorities only deals with the placement of players on the map. I tried it with my map, which has one human player and the rest computers, and the boxes stayed grayed out after checking "Modify Ally Properties."
You may want something like "set aspect of alliance" under either game or player, then select respond to help requests, but I'm not sure that will work either. The problem may be with the AI itself. (I say this having tried to solve a similar issue but not having designed the AI in that case).

First off, I remember in the older patches the AI would defend other AI allies, but not user allies, but they changed that now. Regardless, getting the AI to defend ally AI towns shouldn't be a problem; in less they are already attacking or about to attack an enemy force or building or are in an enraged state.
I know this may work if its melee AI but I don't know about custom. In the AI editor, make sure the "Defend Users" box is checked. The AI should now defend your base as long as they aren't provoked. They should be able to defend other AI allies regardless.
