Dear Blizzard, each day I keep receiving tons and tons of email of this type:

Q u o t e:
Greetings,

An investigation of your World of Warcraft account has found strong evidence that the account in question is being sold or traded. As you may not be aware of, this conflicts with Blizzard's EULA under section 4 Paragraph B which can be found here:
WoW -> Legal -> End User License Agreement
and Section 8 of the Terms of Use found here:
WoW -> Legal -> Terms of Use

The investigation will be continued by Blizzard administration to determine the action to be taken against your account. If your account is found violating the EULA and Terms of Use, your account can, and will be suspended/closed/or terminated.
In order to keep this from occurring, you should immediately verify that you are the original owner of the account.

To verify your identity please visit the following webpage:
http://www.battle.net/account/support/login-support.xml

Only Account Administration will be able to assist with account retrieval issues. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter, and your continued interest in World of Warcraft.

Sincerely,

Account Administration
Blizzard Entertainment

From email addresses that look like this noreply@blizzard.com. The funny part is: I DON'T HAVE A WOW ACCOUNT. It's getting really annoying and I can't seem to be able to block those people. Could you sue them or something? I'm sure some people are falling each years for this kind of stuff. Is there anything we can do? How can I report this? And if I do, can you do something about it?

They can't sue them because it's incredibly difficult to track them.

It is a phishing scam and it's beyond their control, all you can do is forward the email to hacks@blizzard.com

Hello Buckleymixture

Often they are in different countries which means we have to use that countries laws to pursue any sort of legal action. They tend to chose countries that have laws that are more friendly to this type of behavior.

When you get the emails please forward them to hacks@blizzard.com. Our hacks team will investigate the issues and take what actions they can.

Technical support needs your feedback. Please take the time to fill out a survey using the link below and tell me how I am doing:
