Can we please start qqing about "r/d" more so they remove it, it's completely useless and only harms non bot players. I myself don't ever get realm down because I pace myself, but really... if you are too blind to see that this has hurt nothing but legitimate players since implimented, kill yourselves blizzard.

Honestly, this is getting ridiculous and pathetic. There are better ways to 'fix' these issues.
Not only is this annoying but it is seriously affecting my game play. I paid for this game and therefore I deserve the right to play it affectively. This has gotten out of hand and is turning players away. They want a big following for Diablo III, yet they are failing to keep current players interested.

It will help avoid restrictions.
I myself have not received a temp ban yet.
I'm not saying you shouldn't still argue for it to be removed, but after reading the description on how to avoid temp bans you might bring your idea of "game play" into question or at least you should.

If they remove the temp ban system they need to put something in its place to ease server stress and prevent wait lines from forming like they did in 1.10. Unless you like waiting 20 minutes to join a game etc.
What o you suggest they use in its place?
a better server duh. it's been a thousand years, i think they can afford one server upgrade.

It not really a matter of if they can afford it or not, they are business. D2 would also need new network architecture. Actually, that all it would probably need.
aren't they adding a new server anyways with the release of sc2? wouldn't that be enough to handle trafic after removing temp ban? if it doesn't make them profit i'm 99.9% positive that it will never happen, /endthread.

Because Diablo II and its online mechanics are not geared towards an upgrade. Legacy games are likely going to remain on the original Battle.net server. There is little need to fort money to a decade old game when a new franchise game comes in its place.
edit: It is more the software (Battle.net 1.0) than the server. I can have a new server, but like a computer it doesn't work until I put software on there.
