This patch upgrades Diablo II Lord of Destruction from version 1.12a to version 1.13c.

Thats my error. I can clearly see d2exp.mpq in my D2 directory (C:/programs/Diablo II) And it won't install. I tried registering my cd key to reinstall it and it says my cd key has been disabled when i tried getting on battle.net after installing both Classic and LOD, but its not when, i asked my friend to try it and he said he was able to logon.
Ok so administrative mode would be right clicking it at then selecting Run as.. and once i do this it shows this screen and there isnt a "run as adminstrator" Im on windows xp.

I'm thinking you're going to need a reinstall. As far as why it's telling you the CDKey is disabled, i'd e-mail billing@blizzard.com to find out what the deal with that is. You said you had your friend try, it's possible the CDKey is only disabled on one realm he did not login on though.
Ok thanks Sixen im reinstalling right now i was on the phone with tech support and hopefully this will do the trick. And btw, whatever they pay you isn't enough because you are the only person i usually see on here helping people.
Just finished installing and now i get this error trying to install the patch

Ok so to fix this problem i just installed the ptch manually by going to http://www.blizzard.com/patches and it worked! I can't believe it but thank god i didn't think i was ever going to play diablo. Now im a day behind in the ladder but all you guys better watch out cause im comming up.
