Dear Blizzard,
cant you see
that all the bad things like Bots, Item-Shop-Spam, (dupes) and Servercrashes are back within the first week after patch 1.13?

I cant belive that you are not interestet in having a cheat- & lagfree game, even if - or better - that is 10 years old. Yes you can say that you did 10 years before something wrong with the sourcecode or with the serverconfiguration (or what ever) that you would never do again. But think about how long 10 years are. Your were NOT able to fix the battle.net gameplay within this time. Isnt that an confession of failure?

The truth is: Diablo 2 is your child! And you stay and watch while it gets ra*ped - each and every day.

You are bad parents, arent you? Dont blame the cheater that is their fault that Diablo getting that messed up. It is all yours, because you left your child that long alone.

Dont sentenced your child to death! Rise up a new flag of hope!
Tell us that you did not stopped working on posibilities to stop all the exploits!
Tell us that you planning to get rid of all cheats and exploits!
Tell us that you will improve battle.net experience!
Tell us that you will bring back glory to Diablo 2!
.

Not that you used a metaphor, just the metaphor you used.
I personally disagree with it.

Agreed there are issues with D2, but they have also offered ways to avoid the exploits to a degree.
private games, player squelching, text removal in games.

Look at it like an old automobile. Do you rip out the entire electrical system bumper to bumper? Or buy a fire extinguisher for the day it finally shorts out, and then fix said short.
They can only prevent exploits that are known to them, until then they offer tools to fix it on your own.
At the very least it's nice to know they are aware of the huge fan base the have with the Diablo series.
And that they continue to offer damage control and incentives to it's fan base is appriciated.

Make sense?

Well lets see how long it will take until they fixed the rollback exploit.
I Guess 3 days to say that the exploit really exists and 14 days until they think they fixed it.

And after that we have to hope that more people publish their way to cheat so blizz can try to fix them.

no, it does not. Obviously they did not invest ANY time at all into this patch, and now that it is released and UNPLAYABLE, they show NO interest in fixing it AT ALL. They don't even respond.

more like 14 days that they respond and 8 months until they think about fixing it

Yup, all their work was them changing 1.12 to 1.13, right?

Also: Single player if you're not happy with b.net.

Is it just me or does the title remind you of the psycho serial killer from South Park?

I'm really getting sick and tired of this damn BS.

I'm at the point that I just wanna set each and every rollbacker/spam-sellers/hacker on fire, watch them burn like it's a cosy fireplace with their screams beeing nothing more then some pleasant background music.

Now on a serious note. This is something that has to be fixed. I don't care how old the game is. Or who causes what.
You have enough experience with your other games (like wow) to fix those server crashes.
If Diablo 2 is still worth that for you ofc...

Gadzooks, there's no pleasing the spoiled...

I happen to appriciate several of the upgrades.
I'm not happy with the ongoing issues that we all face when gaming online.
However it's nice to be able to see the runes right away.
There's a couple of belly achers out there satisfied with the hammerdin power reduction.
Respecing your stat and skill points is a grand option, and one that not everyone will see the merit in right away.
(I'm sure I'm missing other helpful advances they put into the patch)

Point is, instead of keying in on all of the things they were not able to fix.(*key phrase- not that they didn't but were not able to) let's look at and enjoy the upgrades that are enhancing our game play.

If the rollback is a serious issue and not isolated to a select few, I'm sure they will deal with it quickly.
Not the first time a patch rolled out with the roll back...

Well I haven't been able to play today 'cause of the rollbackers. Lost many hours just to play a while and loose everything you've done because someone tought it was a good idea to let the servers crash again...and again....and again and again.

I don't believe anyone is enjoying hours of online play right now.
The flood of crash, connection losses, and unable to join threads in the forum(z) tells me they are aware of it.

Coupled with the fact that I too have enjoyed 20 minutes of play, achieving a level 4 pally before my turn at the wheel-of-crash. I understand the frustration, I also am willing to trust the team at b.net to be working on a solution.

I choose to relax with the understanding we are in the beginning of another long and potentially enjoyable ladder season.
I also keep in mind that I will never be able to compete with a bot for ladder supremacy. I'll just sit back and look forward to a season that I might actually find the treasured items I seek.

Accept ist guys. Blizzard is a Firm. And like all other they only want Money. Our Moeny! A 10 year old game where noone gets banned makes only a lot of unpaid work! Legit players but the game once and play it for years. Due to the fact that we don't have a monthly payment the dupers are well accepted and sponsored by Blizzard. You guys know how many thousend's of key-sets get banned every year. And many poeple are buying the game again. So they py two, three or many, many more times for this game! That is the only profit they make with D2. Take a real deep look at this fact! In times of capitalism it says everything!

A world crashed today. I tought Blizzard makes the last real games. But they don't!
