I'm sorry to say this, but I'm sorely disappointed by the fact that the Terror, Hate and Destruction Keys drop in Single Player, but still don't do a thing. Activating Uber Tristram for us would've been, like, five minutes of work. At least the Keys could've been removed. Same goes for the Ladder-only runewords.
Don't get me wrong, I'm grateful for a new patch, but I find this a bit insulting. We paid just as much for this game as others, but don't get the full content.
The patch note "- When creating a single player game, pressing the ‘Enter’ key now automatically creates a Hell difficulty game if possible." doesn't even work. Was this even tested at all?
So what's Blizzard's stance on this? Will we ever see Uber Tristram in SP, or can I throw away all those Keys I had collected in full confidence of a rightful decision by Blizzard?

I'm certain that someone did up a mod for single player Uber Tristram. I think it's called PlugY. However, if you plan to play Diablo 2 online at anytime, I'd recommend that you save your SP characters, uninstall both PlugY and Diablo 2, then reinstall.
I do agree that the "pandemonium event" would be a good candidate to release for single player, but if you're only going to be playing SP, then at least you can enjoy it with this mod.

I do appreciate your suggestion, but there's two problems with PlugY. First of all, the Ubers from PlugY do not summon any minions. Also, and more importantly, it brings many more changes, and that's not what (semi) legit SP'ers are looking for.

Q u o t e: what the blaatman meant to say is we would love to purchase a brand new 1.13c full realm install battlechest (and don't you dare leave out original diablo) ...i just may pass my 1.07 b.c. on to some ususpecting virgin....mo ho ho ho ha ha ha
Not sure I completely understand what you're saying, but I'd seriously buy a battlechest if SP would come with Ubers.
Blizzard should also think about the fact that Diablo 2 will one day be taken from Battle.net. It might take another decade, maybe two, but it will be taken down. That would mean Uber Tristram, Diablo Clone and ladder-only runewords will be lost forever... unless they enable all this for SP. Might as well start working on that now, I'd say.
Oh, and 1.07 is EVIL. I played it for a while, even got some awesome stuff out of it (2x Harlequin Crest, 2x Arkaine's Valor, The Grandfather, Arreat's Face, a bunch of Laying of Hands and probably more), but gave up because it was just too tedious. Now I can't even bring myself to import the items to 1.13, because I find them too cheesy.
That was time well spent...

I agree with what has been said. Not enabling Ubers and DClone for SinglePlayer was for me the biggest disappointment of the 1.13c patch - which I think was good otherwise, even though it probably could've been done in half the time it took. If people would have to pay a monthly fee to play on the realms, I would understand why this content is exlusive to the realms. But that's not the case.
People who play SinglePlayer paid the same amount of money for the game as someone who plays on BNet. They shouldn't be denied access to certain contents, just because they rather play on their own in a lag free environment where they don't get temporarily banned for creating several new games within a certain amount of time.
And it's not like Ubers or DClone are so difficult that you'd need the help of others or uber gear. They are definitely doable solo with halfway decent gear.
My only wish for 1.14: Ubers and DClone in SinglePlayer.
I'd really like to hear from a Blizzard official about why this content hasn't been enabled for SinglePlayer.
