Hi there,

I know alot of you guys are saying this game is dead and are looking foward to sc2. However this is all still pretty new to me and whilst Im part of a clan it gets pretty lonely being the only English guy amongst 20-30 Italians.

I was just wondering if any other clans were looking for members at all. I play most of the time late at night due to working a 4on/4off night shift so I sleep during daylight hours :P.

Any replies would be really great. Thanks again

Eth

P.S I do look on clan recruitment channel but with the hours I play it isnt exactly very active. Just thought I'd get that in before getting flamed.

To be honest dude you need to learn your trade in RT before entering a clan. There are few clans going round who'll take you on board. I'd recommend a solid couple of hundred games of RT until you learn the Heroes and units of this game then try playing solo to improve your micromanagement (how you control units in battle). Once you're able to maintain a 55% win rate then a clan may be interested, though you may find one that takes anyone on. Just spam the GBR channel, really. One used to be able to go to some better public channels such as 'tetub' (still don't know why it was called that) and find a full channel but now only a few people linger there.

EDIT: Just saw your profile and see you do play solo. So yeh just spam public channels and hope you get lucky.

Hey Dai,

thanks for the reply. I feel Ive started to get to a decent level now. I mean if you saw my profile a month ago the win % was way down, but Ive managed to claw my way back up a bit.

Im not at a great level, but Im half decent and I was hopeing that by joining a decent clan that the better player would help me progress. I mean you really don't learn anything whooping noobs. Im just looking for a fun clan and to meet new people, another reason I joined these forums.

We'll see what happens.

Thanks again.
