(note this problem refers to broodwar and not SC2) When I try to access battlenet I am told I need an update. I click the update button and the update bar fills up instantly. I am then told "The update was successful, Starcraft will now restart."
The problem is, starcraft doesnt restart. Instead I get a notepad file on my desktop saved as "BnetLog" that says this:

Naturally I tried again, and was met with the same situation.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times.
I have checked my firewall through the following process:
Start----control panel----windows firewall-----exceptions tab-------Starcraft is selected
I feel like I must be overlooking something.
Any suggestions would be welcome.
