I have gone through all of the support forums. I have done every single thing i have read from blizzard to google. Nothing seems to work. I bought the game from the blizzard store and it is not working at all. I have redownloaded the game file atleast 20 times. Nothing seems to work. Do I just have to eat the money that I spent because this product will not work? My computer is more than capable of running it.

I go to battle.net website, I click download pc file. I install that file. I open it up and it gives me the fatal error then it says

Which doesn't make sense. So I tried to download the patch files to manually patch it and it gives me other errors. I have ran it as administrator, tried to run it in windows mode, repaired windows, disk defrag, re install, re download the install files. I really cant think of anything else to do.

You're receiving that with the DD's...? That's odd. Have you had TFT installed on your computer in the past?

I have had it with this computer before. A few weeks ago my hard drive failed on me so I had to buy a new one. It's the same hard drive if that has anything to do with it.

Sounds like TFT is still installed on the computer, try uninstalling it.

The no CD/DVD error appears after a fatal error on startup no matter what - the no CD/DVD error is not the problem.

What exactly is shown on the screen at startup? Does the splash screen show? Does it attempt to change video resolution?

Also, in the Warcraft folder should be an error log corresponding to the time of the error. Can you copy and paste the .txt file into a post?

I suspect that there may be a problem with DirectX preventing Warcraft from running. Before I sort that out, be sure to update Warcraft to the latest version possible. The latest version is 1.24d, however that is released on the server just yet, so 1.24c will have to do for the time being

I am not sure what version of Windows you are running. Is that Vista 64-bit? Anyhow, you should make sure your video card drivers are up to date. They are directly linked to DirectX and may be the source of the problem. Your drivers will be found on the nVidia website here

Just make sure you pick the correct operating system.

Hopefully that will help fix it up. In the mean time, you may be able to launch the game in OpenGL mode. Create a shortcut to "Frozen Throne.exe" and add the -opengl tag to the end of the target line as described in this article

That means it's an issue with DirectX. First off, do you have the latest Windows Updates?

Can you please post a dxdiag log? Go to Start -> Run and type in dxdiag then press enter. Click the video tab at the top. Copy down the name/manufacturer/chip type and the driver date and version.
