Q u o t e: Yes, and that's the curious part. Intellectually, women have proven themselves every bit as capable of men, and one would expect similar levels of performance in a setting as non-physical as competitive gaming. My biggest question is: Is the disparity in gaming skills actually genetic or is it due to gender roles in society?
Sigh? You're saying the answer has to be one or two, I've already mentioned that the answer is three.
Women don't enjoy competition. It is not a genetic lack of 'skillz,' nor is it a societal precedent. It's a genetic predisposition to not enjoying bashing each other's faces in.

No, Starcraft is just a clicking game. It's about who can click the most and the fastest. I guess that's some sort of a skill, but it has no practical use in the real-world whatsoever. So in a way, I guess it's sort of like Chess.
Starcraft = chess
ur so wrong in that starcraft is much more deep than that stuff like mmos are wat you call similar too chess
