1.24a was the one that broke a bunch of maps and didn't fix the exploit.
1.24b was the one that apparently fixed the exploit, and broke the human 6 mission.
1.24c is the current patch. No noteworthy changes.
Uninstall/reinstall, and connect to Battle.net to get patched. See if the prior patches apply properly or not before it gets to the most current one. If that still fails, email Support@Blizzard.com with a complete description of the problem and your system/OS configuration.
I have also a similar problem.
1. I open warcraft 3 frozen throne
2. I click on b.net
3. Patch seems to download
4. I click the restart button
5. Warcraft 3 ft close
(no warning at all)
6.I open Warcraft 3 tft again
7. Click on bnet again
8. Then the patch dont seems to download at all but automaticcaly goes to the finishing part where I can click on : restart
9. I click restart
10. And this never end :D
Dude, I have exactly the same problem. I have tried with downloading and installing a fresh copy of tft from the blizzard downloader. Then manually patch it to 1.24b. http://us.blizzard.com/support/article.xml?locale=en_US&articleId=21224 now you can view 1.24b replays like Fly v Infi on tr in wc3l.
then go and download this program http://hotfile.com/dl/19338824/40289e1/WVS-124c-by-DotA-Utilities.zip.html
run the program (errors occured finding some items but worked none the less) and switch version to 1.24c.
Now you can go and watch grubby take on bigman which is 1.24c. I hav't tried to log into battle.net for fear of not being able to do anything again until an admin replies to my post.
