1. Is the proper name Radar Tower or Sensor Tower?
2. What model is being used: Radar Tower, Sensor Tower, or a completely new one?
3. What are the stats? (mineral cost, gas cost, build time, HP, armor)
4. What is the range of the radar?
5. Do cloaked and burrowed units appear as blips within the radar's range?
6. If yes for #5, will a unit be able to see cloaked and burrowed units that are within its visual range as well as the radar's range?
7. Does the Tower have any other special abilities besides its radar function?
8. Is the Tower salvageable?
9. Is there anything else you can tell us about the Tower that I've missed?

2. Upgrade sensor tower to radar tower.
3. Does it matter till beta?
4. Long, but not too long.
5. Yes.
6. No, but it should, or then again maybe it does.
7. No.
8. Is salvage still in the game? Answer your own question!
9. Is it still in the game?

There is something because otherwise there would be nothing, that should answer all your silly "why do we exist?" questions.

3. It costs 125 mineral and 100 geyser gas and it takes 25 build time. Sensor Tower has 200 hp and 0 default armor. You can upgrade the armor of buildings by 2 at Engineering Bay.
5. No. Cloaked and burrowed units don't appear.
7. No.
8. Yes. you can salvage it for 100% fund.

So it doesn't reveal cloaked units at all anymore? I thought there was a "cloak/burrow radius" (like SC1 missile turrets) + a "radar radius" (in the fog of war). And that "missile Turrets" didnt detect cloaked units anymore.
It was the last time i heard about it... did i miss something? Detection is back to missile turrets?

It detects "enemy movement", so does that mean that it would detect an infestor moving while burrowed? or a moving cloaked unit?

Then a question of whether certain units are not cloakable yet radar-invisible comes up.

Probably best to keep it simple.

No, it detects enemy movement in the fog of war, and i guess Cydra answered, not the movement of cloaekd and burrowed units, in the fog war.

I'm asking for cloaked/burrowed units in the line of sight, as a SC1 missile turret.

about cloaking: From his post I think not, because n00b also asked if it detected in visual range and Cydra said no. So it seems like cloaked units are invisible both to its radar and vision.

I think radar shows a unit regardless if it is moving, just it doesn't show you what the unit is, but I'm not sure.

I think it is +1 armor each, but that could be wrong because I thought there were 3 levels of upgrade (maybe I'm going crazy :P)

While we're on the subject, can units that the sensor tower can sense show up as any dots in the mini-map at all?

According to SC2 Armory's database (is that the latest one?), the Missile Turret still has detection. I'm glad they got their detection back!

According to the same database, the only units that DON'T require a Tech Lab addon (and therefore the only units that can benefit from the Reactor addon) are:
Barracks: Marine
Factory: Hellion
Starport: Viking, Medivac

Interesting.
