Well, i was just wondering why the barb was the only class to "suvive" the destrucion of the world stone. Also how did he lose all his gear and skills?
Was it simple?
Like, they all suvived but the barb was still battle hungry when the other classes were done with adventuring.
Or, when the keep fell all the classes were crushed except the superhuman Barb.
Maybe, the barb used a battle cry like no other preventing his death.
Possibly, what happened to the GOTHIC main character after part 1. (a strong sorcerror transported him away at the cost of all his armor and skills)
Could it be that he followed Tyreal to the high heavens through the arcane portal? (the gods then stripped him of his weapons and skills as punishment)
Please give your ideas or discuss mine. I'm curious asto how it happened. Also, what will be class 5?

How did he lose all his gear? It's been 20 years it probably broke or maybe he hocked it for money since his talents weren't particularly useful in a time of relative peace.

We've already seen the necro as an NPS so id imagin the others will be aswell...
Possibly even as "followers" id bet
And the barb since he lived near the mountain was in the explosion.. losing all his gear.. he went into a coma for a year.. muscle loss.. loss of skills.. he'd have to relearn it.. but being the amazing barb who defeated baal.. a simple explosion isnt enough to kill him

After 20 years of peace, It make sense that the barbarian is not as strong as before.
The same reason can come for his gears. He did not need it anymore.
Level 0 unknown class.

I dont think any of the classes were directly affected by the explosion, because after baal was defeted tyreal appeared and put up a portal for the hero's and sent them to safety...
the only way they would not have survived and only the barb might have is if tyreal lied and sent them somewhere where they got brain washed, but somehow the barb regained some of his memory

No one ever said that the port you enter after you kill baal sent you to harrogath! After you waste baal the first time and enter the portal you get to see the cinematic and get some kind of screen i cant remember what it said! You just started over in harrogath BECAUSE thats the last place you can visit in D2!

I am leaning towards it sending the hero far away to safety, as Tyrael knew his shattering of the Worldstone was going to cause all sorts of feces hitting fans and whatnot.
Whoever created the Diablo spambots need to have their baby-makers taken from them.

If he was the same barb in diablo 2 he would be a high level experienced warrior and no small creatures would even come close.plus the diablo 2 barb has all his skills and was bald with a pony tail and a blue tatoo on his face plus theres a female barb so he isn't the last one.

Yeah, because it takes more than 20 years to grow your hair back in. We also don't know if they were true tattoos (how long does a true woad tatt last for anyway?) or just Henna, which wears off after a week or so.
The combat expertise is pretty easy to explain too. First he isn't as young as he used to be, and it could very well be 20 years since the last time he was in serious combat. He probably had trouble finding even proper sparing partners since all the other barbarians disappeared.

Do you realise how ridiculous you sound, with you're criticism and explanation about you're skill hypothesis? 20 years you dont usually magically gain hair back, most bald people are gentically that way, plus why would he change his style from pony tail to long and beared, but what you said about that is semi reasonable ill give you that. but that the weakest point i was making, Its a confirmed tatoo... ive read a instance of it in a diablo 2 book. Theres no way that you can forget how to jump and warcry and the other skills wth is wrong with you do you think he got klonked on the head to many times? What about the female barb? It would more conceiveable that they were brother and sister specially since the female barb is very young tho its plausible its his daughter. The only skill I can see needed to be regained is world wind, due to the stone. On a side note somone that killed the 3 diablo brothers would be extremely powerful and would kill basic minions VERY easy even after a span of 20 years, and though possible its unlikely a proud barbarian would sell his equipment for some extra cash.

Those were not tattoos, it was just war paint! Unless you think he didn't take a bath in 20 years! :P
Nice find, though it should be a tatoo like ive seen, hopefully they answer whats in my above paragraph because it doesn't make sense how you're stats would be reset from a hell slayer and "forget" you're skills. And "pawn off" all you're items. I hope they thought things threw.
