Never lost any items through the probably thousands of times that i self muled via the 5 minute method.

Unlimited accounts + unlimited characters = infinite storage space. I dont get what the big deal was.

Maybe with the new battle.net you cant have multiple accounts? I still dont see how someone would need more than 1 account full of stashes.

Dont like muling. Having to have 100 mules kinda smells like a broken system doesnt it? At least by Blizzard standards it does.

Walk down the right back alley in Sin City... and you could find anything.

You will still have to mule even with bigger stash. So having increase stash size is useless unless opens up like 40+ slots.

They were planning to make it 12*10 which is 2.5 times bigger. Yes, you will still need to mule but you will need to do so 2.5 times less often and you will need 2.5 times less mules. Maybe it's just me, but it sounds like something really worth looking forward to. Less time wasted muling (because yes, it's hardly all that fun) = more time actually playing. It has very little to do with losing items to muling or anything of the sort.

Yeah muling works well enough, but it's not exactly an elegant solution. I mean what other game makes you create tons of characters just to hold your stuff... it's bad design to give you less space than you need to sustain a single character. With just runes and gems alone for a legit (no rush) run from norm to hell you end up with a full stash. 2.5 times bigger just makes sense, and I wouldn't mind a few tabs of that either.

Guess I will look pretty dumb here but anyways,,, UNLIMITED ACCOUNTS you say? I scoured BNET support looking for detailed info / TOS / etc on how many accounts were legit. Best I could come up with was when you create account you give a CD Key. Which implied to me: 1 CD Key = 1 Account.

At the least I seem to recall from somwhere way back when it was 1 Email Address = 1 Account.

Has this changed?

Care to explain yourself young man?

You can create as much accounts as you want with 1 CD-key.

And yeah bigger stash size IS a big improvement for the game. Stash size is horribly small if you find a few large items (mauls/great swords/shields/armors etc.) that you want to keep for other characters.

Only way i can explain your post is if you never played D2 on Battle.net.

But, just to indulge you, you only need the CD key to log into battle.net, not specific account, and an e-mail is only used for password retrieval, but is not obligatory.

Not every change is going to appeal to everyone.

We asked for community feedback and a larger stash size was in the top three most requested changes.

Higher resolution, which we unfortunately just can't do because it would fundamentally change the game and require a huge development investment to have the game/servers spawn enemies farther out, have them aggro from farther out, and even then it increases travel time to the player... it's just a mess. Apparently increasing the resolution in LoD was this gigantic issue so I think the idea of increasing it again makes some of the old time programmers want to curl up in a fetal position.

And new end game content, which we do want to continue adding, but just wasn't possible for this patch.

So what exactly is in this patch? Sounds like it could turn out to not be much if everything is too much trouble. In that case fix bots and tppk, and reset the ladder so we can get back to playing.

I wasnt really complaining so much as wondering why stash was the top issue.

I still dont get why so many people would say that the stash was their highest priority, with things like enigma, hammerdins, and fastcast mods running around,

Proof that the general community of a game rarely knows whats best for it.
