Q u o t e:
Well that settles it then.

I was just thinking along the lines of it being a Role Playing Game... that it doesn't matter what bits are under your role's pants :D

Except player identification. If at least 40% (or even less probably) likes to play their own gender and the majority does not care, why not cater to those who do prefer it?

There are many better places on a woman's body for baldness than her head, primarily her.......

I would have really expected virginia there, but whatever.

I for my part find bald women gross.

good job reading in between the lines

you're another example of one that doesn't hit puberty, but rather be hit by it

I may be innocent but at least I recognize sarcasm when I see it.

There will be a female monk.

Women can be monks as well in eastern religions, of which the monk draws the majority of his influence. We're obviously putting a western spin on it though and making it something specific for Sanctuary.

Are you thinking of making some kind of announcement for her? Cause I think noone would mind seeing some concept art of her. Are you waiting to do it in a more formal manner? Cause none of the other classes alternative gender had anything special.

I know... we got concepts, videos and, if not on announcement was close behind, screenshots.

I can understand if the model is not ready that we do not get to see footage/screenshots of her... but what is the secret with concept? Is there anything special about her? That is what I do not get.

The female monk is still in the concepting stage, so we don't have any final concepts to show. :)

What about some decent work-in-progress beta shots then that everyone can love or whine about =)

Can you tell us what stage the 5th class is at?

Awesome info, thank you again Bashiok. I was thinking that it might be it. Since we already know the class now and you are on concept.

You could have some forum participation in that though like the SC2, hum I think it was, dark templar model, no?

I still think it's silly if the Male monk shaves his head, but the female monk grows long flowing locks.

Just throwing that out there.
For the Nth time.

The female monk also has a beard. It is part of their vows of hirsutity.

I want her to be bald, but I doubt it's going to happen.

Look at the WD, the female stands upright and looks like a super model, while the male is hunch-backed and old.

Same thing will happen here.
