Q u o t e:
Good post.
How would you use myth? I want to like it but the 3% on being struck proc for howl is disappointingly low. The taunt proc has some serious potential though.
Principle just looks like crap IMO. As a legit player I would not waste a gul on that.
I have used myth in one situation but i need to allude to my first post and say that it was on a BM, LLD (level 25) barbarian. BM being that he used strength glitch and slow but he was tons of fun.
This was the setup...
Barbarian; Level 25 (not rushed through other difficulties/quests) Welfare build
Stats;
Strength, Dexterity, Energy- Base
Vitality all points.
Skill layout;
Combat skills- 2 points in frenzy, 1 in prerequisites (5)
War cays- 2 points in battle orders, 1 in prerequisites (4)
Combat masteries- 16 points in mace mastery 1 point in inc speed/stamina and iron skin. (19)
28 points total, 24+4 from normal quests
Gear layout;
Helm; Dusk Deep- with +15 max damage jewel
Armor; 'Myth' Mage plate
Weapon(s) 2x general's Tan do Li Ga (unique flail)- with +15/14 max damage jewels in each
Weapon(s) (switch) 2x spirit swords (stats don't matter they are only for prebuffing BO)
Gloves/belt- death set
Boots- goblin toe or hotspurs (situational)
Rings/Amulet- Angelic
I got enough strength and dexterity charms to equip my gear and give me the stat (no gear appearance) glitch which, when combined with double handed attacks creates the "blink" glitch. The rest of my charms were either HP or combination hp and damage/ar charms.
In the end the character had about 1400 hp buffed and did about 500 max double swing damage, he also slowed opponents and blinked off screen, earning lots of hax complaints.
His name was SomeRandomNoob and my younger brother made a clone character named "SomeRandomNub"
and together we terrorized public low level duel games.
I would like to put out a disclaimer that these builds were bad mannered and not to standard with most LLD rules, they were also not real competitors when it came to real LLD, especially because they fit between normal brackets. You will kill most good level 19 zealots and concentrate barbs but you will get slapped around by any good level 30s (unless they are fire or ice casters)
That's 'Myth' As far as Principle goes, I would not likely waste a Gul rune on it unless i was playing as a caster type, on iron man mode and a Gul happened to drop before Skin of the vipermagi. Any melee character would benefit more from a rare with FHR and +hp which can easily be gambled.
I'm thinking of raising a boner next ladder. Anyone want to rub, I mean run, with me?
