Ok, so here's the deal: I'm a long time SC player, and just started playing WC3 a couple days ago (I only play as ocr rightnow). I am very much a noob but I'm pretty good at rts games so I have some skill. And what I've noticed about the BM is that if someone is beating me with a BM then they probably are doing it with some pretty good skill/micro. Not just bc the BM is crazy awesome, which let's all be honest he is pretty cool.
There are plenty of morons who let me chase off or kill their BM and I feel like I was going to end up beating them no matter what. But just like any rts game I can tell when a BM is being handled by a superior player just by the way he moves/reacts to what I do and then I feel like this guy was going to beat me no matter what I did or what hero he got. He just knows the game and is better at it.
Also if you're playing random team which I know a lot of you are bc the wait times for games are like 5 seconds, please, help your teammates if they need it. I don't know any games where it's a good idea to ignore the fact a teammate is in need. Even if its attacking the enemy instead of defending him, just do something. I bring it up bc if a BM is harassing someone and it looks likethey can't handle it, well you can either watch your teammate go down or try to somehow help out.
Long story short, I'm not sure it's all in the BM's stats, there will always be a "best" build aspecially when seen in the hands of a better player.

Spoken with an objective and reasonable point of view. I totally agree with you on the point that if you lose to a BM user it was probably because he was better than you. Not because he is OP. But the fact is people love to blame their losses on something other than themselves. Every long-time RTS player knows that.
1v1 I think is where most of the frustration is with him. He can be quite menacing but only in the hands of a greatly skilled player. I welcome the use of BM in my games as most people simply are not good enough to use him better than I can counter him.
I've probably played with BM and bats over 1200 times and it really helps for me to know him inside and out. In my games there have been plenty of newbs that i've absolutely crushed with him time and time again. But at the same time there are those good players that make it quite a challenge or just downright hand me my ass once they know what I'm up to.
So many people here should really just make an attempt at objectivity before shooting down so many thoughtful posts. I mean if you disagree that's great!! Just be thoughtful in return.
