I used to play BW with my current DSL connection all the time. My internet runs super fast, and I have no problem downloading and playing other games. Recently, my DSL switched from phone line to fiber optic. I
When I enter BW it is extremely quick from the login screen to the chat room, I have 1 green bar.
When I enter games, every player aside from the game host has 2 green bars (no exceptions) this is the first problem I recognized. When the game counts down and is about to begin, the game lags for about 5 seconds before it officially goes in, and people blame me for the lag (even though up until that point everything was extremely fast). Once the game enters it plays extremely laggy for a few seconds until it automatically drops me out of the game.
This has never happened to me before, and I just re-installed SC/BW today.
Ive tried opening my Gamerlounge router ports for SC, it even has a scroll drop down menu where I can choose any game (I chose SC) and it automatically puts all the port options for SC in there. I did that, and placed my IP in the box and now it should be fine to play BW. Even though I did this, nothing changed.
