If Zerglings are supposed to be the ultimate zerg counter against Stalkers and then you bring in Archons to %%@@ those Zerglings how is Zerg supposed to beat this combo? And what about Terran?
Terran got nukes... jk. I'm sure a combo of Seige Tanks and Marauders could destroy Ult-ling combo. Target the Ultralisks, seige tanks will deal splash to take out the lings.

I'm sure that Stalkons aren't easy to get, but as for engaging the force directly, I'd imagine Hydralisks focus-firing the Archons, with a couple of Ultras for tanking with get rid of the front-line pretty quickly, and a Zergling ambush from behind wouldn't hurt much either... except for the Stalkers. Last I heard Archons weren't buffed enough to deal with the new enemy units, and I'm not sure how useful Lurkers could be in this situation.

Not sure about Zerg, but for Terran, Ghosts will be useful in tearing down their shields with EMP while Marauders can pick them off.
Hydraroach imo. More hydras than roaches. The scattered roaches would absorb damage while hydras deal it. If they focus fire, they'd mess up positioning, if they don't, roaches would continue to render some attacks useless.

Lurkers is a good counter against enemy armored ground units. Their dmg is 30! (15 norm + 15 against armored(StarCraft/wikia.com)) Their range has also got an upgrade of 9(from 6) since BW it seems.. So I would bring a few lurkers defenendly..
You have to tech a bit to get them though, so meanwhile the infestors 100 dmg AoE disease would help you out. And then let the Zerglings do their part. Additionaly, if you have some Hydralisks they could do some nice focused fire against the Archons.
This is prob the lowest tech build I could up with if I had to deal with the problem fast..
Roaches ain't any good against mass Stalkers since they are amored and stalkers tear armor unit up..

I'll try Reapers C4 to the location where they will eventually blink and guess. Caboom ! :)

Think about it, he will never blink on my "sacrifice" sieges :)

After thinking it depends on the actual composition of the opponent. If it's stalker mass with a 1/6 ratio (1 archon to 6 stalkers) then that shifts the different group compositions currently. From every report written I've read about people who have played the game, stalkers feel more like dragoons.
So let's angle on Archons/dragoons, What could zerg use to counter now in SC2?
This would be a lot like how Dragoons assault seige tanks IMHO. It would be a hard fight to take head on with equal ground (due to blink) but would require some micro/tactics.. Flanking would be vital in this one.
1. Headon with ultralisks with Zergling flank
2. Hydra focus/roach soak with sneakin/burrow lurkers
3. If low archon count, You could do it with roach/zergling with broodlord support. (Using the intial hits of the broodlord to keep the archons busy while you position a good flank.
4. Fungal Infection to manipulate their movement into a good flank.
5. Use a Overseer/Nydus Canal to allow a zergling flank while distracting the main force with another unit comp.
Those are just off the top of my head with zerg.
Terran is simple: Mech with ghost support. More viking and less tank due to the abuse of blink against tanks while the archon soaks.
In hindsight though, it would be more realistic that high templars would be in this group, so the battle would be intense and probably replay worthy if you take it out :)
