Besides, I don't think Blizzard has ever released a patch in the history of the company on a Friday.

Although It would be nice if they released the patch notes but that's probably not gonna happen either.

Good thing I saw this, four years ago ladder was reset at the beginning of August on a Friday. Servers we're back up by 8-9pm.

They dont want to say anything because they might throw something out in the last minute. Thats just regular protocal.

Can any information be released regarding what player spawned ideas have caught your interest? I know upon a request you may be very hesitant to reply, as your post suggests you don't want to give false hope. In being that blue posts aren't found very frequently, a simple reply would possibly seem more suggestive than intended. As many know, people tend to read things and understand them how they want, not how it was meant to be interpreted. If you're willing to share any comments you have on some of the many suggested ideas then I think that would be great. I'm more curious to find out what the people making the changes think than what might actually come to pass. Understanding the creators themselves allow us to better understand how the game was meant to be played.

I just want the patch released. I've wanted a reset for months. Now that I know it's going to be released, and could have been released 12+ days ago, it's an agonizing wait. There's really little point to play the ladder now anyway, especially since everyone's prolly sold all their gear anyway.

I still have all of my things. I don't get rid of my stuff until AFTER the Ladder has been reset and I've got a MF Sorceress up to where I want her.

I think the is a very telling breadcrumb, what it says is they gave the suggestions on the forum serious consideration, now after saying that if you want to have some fun, or just need something to do(i prefer taking young ladies to the zoo, but that's me), take a look at the long string of suggestions and think about what would be a nice update that wouldn't throw things out of balance, things that would help blizz as well as making the player base happy, the increased stash size also tells us they are making expack level changes like 1.10.

One more breadcrumb, if respecing isn't added, I believe they wanted to and tried to, but something got in the way. I believe after looking at the suggestions that those are the two big ones, everything else is like throwing darts at a dart board, there were a lot of good ideas as well as bad ones, soem of the good ideas "remove tele from enigma" would be about as hard at tackling gun control, one side would celebrate in the streets, and the other side would storm blizzard's offices with burning pitchforks. Some of the bad ideas(use captcha for allowing pvp) with a little thought might trigger a good idea (use captcha for initial log-in for b-net, and be prompted for captcha every 5 unique games you create or log in to), who knows.

I'm just happy they are still making content changes, I just hope some of my toons are still usable after its over. 1.10 left me with an orb sorc and 7 useless charactors

Dear lord, does Diablo II need more storage space. I'd go even farther than 12x10 personally (in fact I'd just go ahead and make it infinite), but still, any improvement in that area is greatly appreciated.

So now there is no point on even investing time making a new character, since in a week it can be dumped into nl with all the other trash there.
