In the patch notes of 1.11, it clearly states that there were 10 new runewords. Only 7 of those 10 were ever officially announced.
Many individuals found runewords in the mpq files of the patch but even those runewords were disabled.
So the big question is, were their really 10 new runewords at the release of 1.11 or were their only 7?
If their was 10 then what are the other 3? It's been over 2 years and the probability of an individual finding a ladder only runeword using 33 runes and over 50 different socketed items is unrealistic at the rate of rune drops.
Even thinking about the math to calculate the probability over time kinda hurts my brain.
If I remember correctly, 2 of them were disabled for mechanical reasons.
One of those two gave the oskill "Weapon Block" from Assassins, but was found to be defunct/broken when used with other dual-wielding classes (barbarians) - instead of fix what was broken about it they just disabled it (so typical).
The other of those two gave "cleansing while equipped" - which doesn't seem imbalanced at all, but for one reason or another was disabled (probably because the reduction to shrine duration was seen as too annoying compared to reduced curse/poison duration and/or how you could make an uber-A2 Norm Healamerc for summons, since cleansing works on skeles/summons while Meditation doesn't).
Again, instead of fixing whatever issues were at cause for it; it was disabled.
The third runeword I don't think any info/details were released on, but was probably disabled for a similar mechanical//balance issue.
I remember reading this info from Dii.net; they probably don't have the news archived from it from back then, but it's about as accurate as you'll probably find if they do.
Delirium in an orb? Is that supposed to make it do something different?
and where'd you get info on that btw
I can't remember the exact combination off the top of my head, but it involved an Ist rune.
Maybe it was Nef Sol Ist...
(EDIT)
That's exactly what it was. Wonder - Nef Sol Ist in 3 socket Orbs. Except now through Google I'm seeing "Wands" instead of "Orbs"...

3 socket wands don't exist. Whatever you're looking at might consider sorc orbs to be "wand class" however.

this is partly incorrect, you are thinking of plague and i forget the name of the other one, but these were PRE 1.10. but you are correct they were disabled, but they are not part of the 10 from the patch
