We’re preparing for a Diablo II ladder reset to coincide with the release of the 1.13 patch that’s currently in development. We don’t have a final release date for the patch yet, but we’re providing early warning as a reset could occur as early as the end of April. We’ll be providing updates with more certain dates once the patch is closer to release.
Please be aware that with a ladder reset all ladder characters are moved to non-ladder. This means that your characters will still be accessible but will no longer have access to ladder-only features and games. In order to play in the new ladder season after the reset you will need to make new ladder characters.

hehe...wait...what!?....So here is my little concern about this. I just made a new char few days ago. So when you reset the ladder then I will just throw that char away? I have higher lvl chars that I play with from time to time.
My point here is that I dont care about the ladder, but I care about the ladder-features and items. So just because some "few" people actually cares about the ladder itself, then people that just likes the ladder feature should also start over once again?....cant see what good it will bring to the major ladderplayers that actually dont care much about the ladder itself (as it is my oppinion)?
Basically: There is not much use to start a new ladder char up today?
And somehing else: why reset ?.....that ladder will be filled within a month anyway...with many of the same players.

Getting into Ladder you should know that resets are coming... its the nature of the ladder.
Resets are good, it wipes the economy clean, whatever ladder item dupes that are there are now gone, hopefully patching some of the dupe methods out too... Everybody has a fresh start with a fresh economy for now.

i have played Diablo II since 1.09 so ya i would like to see that and also know a date so i can be ready for ladder :D anyways came to post because the other post is full can i post my thoughts on the new patch?... so i would like to see this lagg fixed why is it that the game laggs on a good computer? like torch or summoner why do i lagg on the summoner it makes no sense anyways fixing that would be great :D and i hope to see 1.13 in action :D

I have a phoenix shield on non ladder europe, and I wonder why I can't hit fast in melee attack because I have to cast firestorm, unlike casting firestorm with torch. Also, I seem to cast level 1 firestorm with phoenix, not level 22.
A friend lost all hit items he wore at a character after dying in a duel ! can this be fixed ?
And a weird fact about making town portals: I had a tome of town portal in stash and another tome of town portal in inventory, and because of that, I couldn't open a town portal (while outside town) with right clik skill.
Hope this is read by anyone that matters ...
