I've played on my current computer for 2,5 years now without any problems what so ever but 2 days ago I started getting fatal errors while playing online. This is what I've done to get around the problem but nothing has worked:
Reinstalled the game.
Copied the files to another partition and run it from there.
Checked my system for hardware conflicts.
Used my other network card.
Turned off the sound card.
Turned sound acc to 0.
Cleaned my drives with malware, spybot search & destroy, ad-aware and F-secure.
Run memtest with no problems.
Run defrag.
Made sure heat is not a problem.
Made sure I only played maps compatible with the new patch.
Tried about 15 other games, all which works perfectly.
*edit: Tried openGL and windowed mode.
I've spent so much time browsing the dumps in order to find an .exe-file or process that annoys wc3. I remember a few years ago I had such a conflict with netlimiter, but this time I can't find anything useful at all.
The weird thing is that I didn't even do anything, I didn't change anything in order to create some kind of problem. I didn't install a program or changed anything. Obviously I have in the past, but the last program I installed was a week ago and the problems started occuring 2 days ago.
This application has encountered a critical error:

Any tips what I can try to get it working again? And for god sakes don't say "update windows and drivers" because the problem occured as said, 2 days ago which means that my software is new enough to play the latest patch. If I'm wrong about this, please explain to me how and why a conflict can occur out of the blue.
Thank you so much.

Thank you very much for your answer. Is it correct (for possible future similar issues) that if an "unknown" module crashes the game (is present in that part of the .dmp) it is a module not originated from the warcraft III game?
*edit wow this is weird. As soon as i read the link you gave me I started having the symptoms of a trojan that was described in the link. I think you have pushed me in the right direction. Yet again, thank you.

I was hosting a game, alltho I had been for hours. Can that have something to do with it? My computer is completely clean from malware, viruses and trojans.

"There is not enough memory to execute the command" could be the result of a bad trigger in the custom map. As you said you were playing for a while it could very well be the case. I'd keep an eye out for these types of errors and only start getting concerned if it happens across a few different maps.

I got the same error. I get this every once in a while. I checked the "errors" folder and found about 19 of these spanned over the last year. These 19 dump files (with another 19 txt files) are associated with 4 different maps. I play only custom maps. Is it possible that these maps are the ones having the issue? or is it possible that these maps are triggering a flaw in WC3?
Here's a sample of one of the dump files:

Warcraft III (build 6352)
Hi, sorry for digging this up again. But I'm having some serious problems with this.
same thing as the last poster there.. the .\cmemblock.cpp
Not enough... bla bla..
Reinstalled with a fresh setup (and changed mobo/cpu/ram once in the process) and I have gotten about 20 of these errors for the last 5 days. Always on custom maps. But I haven't played the same map more than once.
What is the .\cmemblock..cpp? And can I in any way enhance the limit so it doesn't run out of space? Got 8 gig ram and 2 Tb of free disk....
Some new info.
Have 2 pc.
IC2D 8400 4gb DDR2 4850HD 1gb etc...
P4 2,4ghz 1.5gb DDR1 AGP GF 6600 GT 128 mb
Two different pc
Get "cmemblock.cpp line 372" error on both of them on 1 map, Custom - TwilightsEveOrpg
map sized about 7-8mb. Very big.
0.5-1 sec after map load - freeze, then after 1-2 min i see this error
Try to reinstall Windows (Try Vista Windows7 and XP), Try ro reinstall W3 from my disk (Russian Warcraft3 and TFT Jewel CD) and so from English *.iso W3 and TFT. Always this error.
Try to connect to this map on battle and create in local game .. no matter
Dont know whats the problem. But i cant to play this map...
ps many people play this map in BattleNet so this no map problem i think.
