I say we remove it...

PvP has always and will always be around, alot of people are complaining its going to change things well PvP isnt supposed to be easy or predictable, maybe you need a change

PvM well we cant remove map hacker or botters or auto tele ect.. they tryed, thier still around, so remove tele, that stops 60-80% of the problem, 99% of sorc players complain about hell resistances, if they are the only one with tell this makes up for it, and at the same time we dont have very many botters map hacking MFers ect..

all in all TELEPORT WAS MADE FOR THE SORC the sorc should keep it, if you feel you need it that bad, go get a tele charged item (this could be a gold sink (repaireing charges))

Well I'd say only remove the +1 Tele from the enigma, I got nothing against the rest of it.

can't just remove tele, either change it completely so its useful, or remove it form the game how about give it +1 fade that would b kewl

Releasing Enigma Armor with +1 To Teleport was probably the most class-balancing move made by Blizzard. Instead of overpowered sorceresses who, let's face it, teleport is unbeatable reigning king, now we have varieties of new builds (Summon Necro, Barbarians, Amazons, Hammerdins), etc. viable thanks to Enigma.

Enigma allows characters who have to face unbreakable immunities a chance to skip the monster instead of having to reload game. Enigma allows for real dueling instead of sorc teleporting away with a lot of FCR, then bombing the **** outof other characters with missiles.

Honestly you want to stop MH/cheaters look at the real source of the problem. MH won't be stopped by removing nigma. Cheaters will use sorcs or find other ways.

IMO the best thing to balance classes is to LEAVE ENIGMA as it is, and remove the Concentration Bonus to Blessed Hammer. It would still deal a respectable 5k damage - like the damage on most top skill - but not 13k insanity.

I may be one of the few who don't care about Nigma and would be a little disappointed if they nerfed it or took it out completely.

Games change that's how it goes. Any new content has the chance of changing the way a game is played no matter how much balancing is done.

The thing is with Nigma is everyone as equal access to it on Ladder so it's not like any one person gets a true advantage.
You are playing at a disadvantage if your don't prepare accordingly.
Don't flame me cause I did not flame you, this is just my 2 cents.

i say, go ahead and remove tele... BUT

why stop there?
remove every skill from all runewords.
whats good for enigma is good for everything else. get rid of skills on cta
get rid of auras on:
Ifinity
Insight
LastWish
Harmony
Ice
Pheonix
Lawbringer
Dream
Dragon
Faith
HoJ
Edge
Pride
Beast
Doom
ETC....

if u want it "fair" they need to remove any skill from any item that can be used by a character that doesnt naturally have that skill.

make fade from treachery assassin only
no more chilling armor from fort (its a sorc skill)

be real people. there is nothing wrong with enigma. if u dont like enigma, dont use it. if u dont like baal runs with a hammerdin, dont join them. if u like to walk to baal, run your own games.

as is, most baal games are run by hamerdins. u "hate" hammerdin baal runs YET u still join cause u dont want to actually walk to baal.

why not bring important things to blizzards attention.. TMC/GMOD/AA/AutoTp/AutoPot
thats the stuff that needs to be fixed..

If you remove Enigma, you will remove so many builds and ruin PVP.

Well I disagree. If you are a classic player and u only play classic then go back to classic. If you were to remove the runeword "enigma", every character that rely's on the strength would have to remake their character, which is almost everyone except for bowazons, and Sorcerers (the ones that use nigma not CoH)
Secondly, almost the whole diablo 2 community has this runeword. And speaking of PvP, it would be pointless without Enigma, and pvp is the best thing to do on Diablo 2. The favorite class, the "druid" would be nothing without enigma. Same with the barb, necro, and hammerdin. It would be pointless for these characters that rely on enigma to even pvp. Many people wouldn't even pvp without the enigma. There would be no point in dueling bowazons, all they would have to do is spam bow's and without tele the character that she is duelingis a sitting duck. Bowazons would rule the dueling grounds.
Thirdly, in my opinion alot of the new characters that have only been playing for about 1 year maybe 2, have been so connected to the enigma. And most people these days have only been playing for about that long. I would think that they'd quit. If you were to remove enigma alot of players would quit. But if blizzard really wants to ruin diablo 2 that's up to them. If the classic players want enigma removed so much, then they should go play classic.

You're right it has always been around and when 1.10 came along Enigma was the new thing and therefore change, removing Enigma is not bringing change, it is simply going back to pre-Enigma times.

No, if Sorceress players were the only ones with Tele that does not make up for the hell resistances issues. Sorceresses still would not be able solo hell mode, lightning sorces will still only be able to do it with a Mercenary and Fire or Cold sorce's still would be unable. The hell resistances has nothing to do with who can teleport and who can't.

And the Sorceress is still the one with the power when it comes to Teleport, try to remember that other classes who use Enigma are restricted to that armor only. The Sorceress has the advantage of choosing any armor she desires and still moves faster than any other character.

And I'm just giving an opinion.

imo: Nerf the Enigma but leave tele as is, remove the Aura stack glitch, change the ban methods (clearly don't work), nerf the Hammerdin, remove any and all bots, change the way Absorb works in PvP (currently the elements are so easily absorbed-especially light-it makes some characters pointless in PvP) and fix the glitch where you must re-equip a mercs weapon for it to work after a death.

Oh, so a 11.5k-11.6k Blessed Hammer is overpowered, but a 5-51k Lightning isn't?
