Yah, I definitely just noticed too that Sylarian had posted, and had to do a double-take. I can't believe I missed that before.

It's about time you guys got used to this. I'm just going to pop my head in every 6 months to 2 years, tell myself I'll stay awhile, and disappear again for an extended period.

Really, whenever I see exciting Blizzard news it just draws me back like a moth to a candle. This time it was this writing contest. I thought the Fx3 would be loaded with people excitedly talking about it. How wrong I was! The youngins just don't go for it the same way we used to.

And the oldins can't be bothered to write something that's not going to belong to them.

Or really anything at all.

The forum you're thinking of is the original KF (kaotic fiction) board... which was run, I believe, by split Kerrigore and CWarrior8000, or whatever his name was. It's the board where we also had our roleplay arena and the infamous StarCraft RP which died with the forum crash... tsk tsk...

No, it wasn't Kaotic Fiction. It was psy emanation. A shorter-lived forum, but I preferred it. Mainly because CW often had very strong opinions about how KF should be run.

That's cause the youngins that are here write tiny little two paragraph stories, and we all take one look at them and shake our heads. Or at least I do heh.

I forget what a long road it is from total noobie to established writer. I'm too old and grumpy to take the time to help them grow now. Unless, of course, i see one with real talent.
We need Chinshu and Sheepy and Sylarian to post their stuff. I can't remember what I have and haven't collected. Need their permission to put things in the Archive as well.

Guess I'll repost my stuff one day... probably when AIGD does a resurrection. Then they'll remember why we are to be worshipped as Gods. Gods I tell you!!! sup doods matt_ISGOD for those of you who don't know i switched accounts. It's freaky how I started posting here in 6th or 7th grade and now I'm a sophomore in college and I come back to so many of the same people. I grew up and if this board saved every post I'd ever made, that'd be a good archive of me growing up but always being the same %!*#%** on the internet through junior high and like freshman year of high school

Without you there could really be no FFF regulars anyway. Everyone knows an essential step in becoming a regular in the FFF is having a flamewar with matt, the only difference between members is how long and/or heated it is.

Am I the only one who finds it ironic that matt_ISGOD is now going by the monicker 'Allybuilder'?

I don't particularly find it ironic, because while he IS a callous !@!%#%! to anyone and everyone, the only people who actually dislike him are those too new to know any better.

I find it ironic that you use the term "grew up" when referring to your time on these boards. I don't think you that ever really occurred, let's be honest ;)
