hey guys,
Well i just bought my D2 bundle today, again. lost the other ones.
anyways i got a new macbook, running windows XP on it also, and in windows mode i try installing d2.
regular d2 installs without any problems, but when i put in the expansion CD, it starts up the installer asking me to upgrade to d2 lod. so i click on it, and then it says "please install expansion cd" but the thing is.. the cd is already in the drive..
i mean, it recognized the cd..
so if i click cancel, it comes up again.. cancel again and it asks for the play disc. then later it asks for expansion again, and this time it recognizes the expansion. After the instal is finished, it says that there was an error in the installation.
i try running D2 but when i cilck on the LOD, nothing happens. nothing comes up and nothing happens at all, then it won't allow me to uninstall.

i went to my old laptop and tried installing there, and it worked perfectly on there, with windows XP (Hp laptop, not mac)
so anyone know to solve this?

1- Before clicking on "Upgrade to Diablo 2 LOD", copy the file D2XMUSIC.MPQ from the Diablo 2 LOD cd and put it on the Diablo II folder (c:\Program Files\Diablo II) and rename it to D2MUSIC.MPQ.
2- Click on Upgrade to Diablo 2 LOD

You should not be asked for any cd's now.
